Unit Converter
Quick conversion of the technical units most commonly needed in water treatment – conductivity, water hardness, pressure, flow rate, temperature and volume.
Conductivity and resistivity are strongly temperature-dependent (approx. 2% per °C). Reference values are usually given at 25 °C – check whether your measuring device already applies automatic temperature compensation (ATC).
TDS conversion uses a factor of 0.5 (NaCl reference) – the actual factor depends on the dissolved substances in the water and can range from 0.5 to 0.8.
Resistivity
Resistivity is the reciprocal of conductivity (e.g. 18.2 MΩ·cm corresponds to a conductivity of 0.055 µS/cm – typical for ultrapure water).
