As Industrial Equipment & Machinery GmbH, we take responsibility for our environment – with our own solar power generation, a beekeeping project on our production hall roof, and products designed to conserve resources rather than waste them.
Electricity from Our Own Solar Array
We generate the electricity for our production hall ourselves – with the help of a solar array on our hall roof. Doing good for our environment and nature is our declared goal.
We take nature as our model for our work and help it flourish again. As a thank-you to our suppliers and to ourselves for the work put in, nature gives something back to us too: delicious, home-grown honey.

Beehives on the Hall Roof
To that end, we have placed four beehives on our production hall roof. Since 2016 we have been experimenting with different hive types and testing new technologies like digital scales – and we are constantly learning along the way.
We encourage anyone with the time and interest to try beekeeping too. These industrious pollinators bring not only life and diversity to the area – their delicious honey is also a constant reminder of the golden reward of hard work.
